I thought it was about time we introduce ourselves. We are Rod and Jen Gilkinson, founders of Georgian Bay Candle Co. As resent empty nesters, we knew we needed to find something we enjoyed doing together (that didn’t included calling our kids every hour of the day). We found ourselves going on little adventures around the Georgian Bay Area. Markets, coffee shops, independent stores and cool little restaurants. These adventures are what stimulated our journey to start Georgian Bay Candle Co. With so many beautiful stops along Georgian Bay, making candles people can take home to remind them of their own adventures was the idea.
